Peter Wright | Executive Chair
Peter has held many senior positions in MNCs as well as start-ups as a founder over a 37 year period. He was an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank as well as a licenced fund manager. Within Macquarie he was involved in the formation of several significant real estate and infrastructure funds. Peter received the first foreign PE funds management licence issued in China as well as a Capital Markets Services Licence in Singapore. Peter has extensive experience as a principal investor, senior lender, investor and has established networks of wholesale investors globally. Peter was a founding director of CEP Energy, Chair of real estate fund Valore Investment Partners and Chair of NBFI Secured Investments Ltd.
Craig Hitchings | Executive Director
Craig has held senior management roles in the Banking and Finance industry for over 30 years. Craig was Head of lending for Australia’s largest Commercial Mortgage Fund, Challenger Commercial Lending for 20 years as Head of Commercial Lending. Craig was a member of the Mortgage Management Credit Risk, Compliance, Operational Risk and Credit Committee’s and won Money Magazine’s Fund Manager of the year for Mortgage Trusts seven times.
Geoff Wensley | Operations Director
Geoff brings over 34 years of experience in the finance industry which includes some 14 years within the mortgage/funds management field performing various roles within both bank and nonbank environments. Geoff’s previous positions included Team Leader of commercial lending operations for Challenger Mortgage Fund, Challenger Howard Mortgage Fund and Westpac.
Duncan McGrath | Chair of the Advisory Board
Duncan is the recently retired Chair of Baker & McKenzie Law Firm in Australia and was the head of their Banking & Finance Practice. Duncan was a former Partner of Gilbert & Tobin Law Firm and the founder of their Banking & Finance Division. Prior to that Duncan was with Allen & Overy Law Firm in London and earlier with Goldman Sachs London. Duncan has decades of Banking, Finance and Mergers & Acquisition experience.
Haresh Bhere | CEO - NBFI Electric
Haresh has held C-Suit Executive roles over 18 years of experience in the area of Electric Vehicles and Ecosystem development; including years of experience in the German Automotive Industry, covering R&D, strategy & planning. Rich demonstrated experience with delivered business cases and vehicle programs. Global work culture and complex process understanding from the finest automotive OEMs including Daimler AG, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Horiba GmbH.
Max Wright | Adviser Capital Markets Origination
Max is an Advisor within NBFI’s Capital Markets Origination team dealing with investors and channel partners across all the NBFI Funds. Max is a founding Director of Foreign Aid Fund - Ethiopia Down-Under Foundation Ltd, he was a Senior Sales Executive for NDIS certification provider EnableUs and Market Research Executive for CEP Energy.
Noah Lancaster | Advisor Capital Markets Origination
Noah is also an Advisor within NBFI’s Capital Markets Origination team dealing with investors and channel partners across all the NBFI Funds. Noah was previously Chief Financial & Sales Officer at Laneway Media, Head of New Partnerships at Avarni, a leading provider of ESG software reporting systems and currently a Senior Account Manager at Badge of Honour, a leader in custom merchandise and brand apparel.
